Introductory Cricket Umpiring/Scoring Course

Baroda Cricket Association is offering an introductory course for Cricket Umpiring and Scoring for fresh candidates (Men & Women).

The Umpiring course is based on the basic knowledge of the MCC Cricket Laws. It provides a platform for preliminary understanding of umpiring and additionally, mentoring for BCCI level-1 Umpiring Examination. This is to be recognized as BCA Introductory course for aspiring umpires.

Umpires Course Duration: 10 to 15 weeks [6:00 pm to 8:00 pm]

The Scorers course will focus on scoring related cricket law besides linear cricket scoring method. This course is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and information to officiate as a scorer in BCA allotted matches..

Course Duration: 3 Days [9:00 am to 5:00 pm] ��Eligibility Criteria:

1. 18-40 years of age as on 01.09.2022
2. Cleared HSC/Diploma in any discipline.
3. Must have represented a recognized club in domestic cricket.
4. Must have elementary knowledge of English Language and Computer Proficiency.
5. Physically and Mentally Fit.

Registration Process:

• Fill up the Registration Form given below with the following:
  1. 2 passport size photographs
  2. Photocopy of Birth date proof
  3. Photocopy of Certificate of Highest Educational Qualification
  4. Fitness certificate by a certified Doctor.
• Submit the Application at �BCA House� � 78, Haribhakti Extension, Race Course, Vadodara.
• Last Date of Application: 12.09.2022

�Note:

• Candidates shall be shortlisted for the course through screening process.
• Selection shall be done solely at the discretion of the Baroda Cricket Association.
• An Examination will be conducted at the end of the courses.
• Attendance in Examination is Mandatory.
• Overall Passing Percentage 75% (including viva-practical)
