INDUCTION OF CRICKET UMPIRES/SCORERS
FOR FRESH CANDIDATES
Thinking about Cricket Umpiring! The Baroda Cricket Association is pleased to announce Umpiring Course, for applicants aspiring to make Umpiring as a career.
The three day course, shall aim to teach the basics on laws of Cricket. The candidate will be provided with study material on laws of Cricket and the date of examination shall be informed during the course. Upon clearing the examination, the candidate shall be inducted on to the Baroda Cricket Association’s State Panel of Umpires.
Eligibility:
- Age: Minimum 21 years completed as on 01/09/2024 and upper Age: 35. For first class cricketer’s relaxation of age shall be provided up to 2 Years i.e, 37.
- Minimum Education Qualification: 12th Passed/ Graduate, and shall be well versed with English language.
- Last Date of Application: 10/08/2024
- 3-day workshop will be held in the BCA Office, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the first week of September.
- Requirement: 90% presence.
- Examination is Mandatory and the date of exams will be informed during workshop.
- Overall Passing Percentage 70 %
- Apply with 2 photographs, Proof of Birth date and Educational certificate
[In case more applications received, the entry may be accepted or rejected by BCA, subject to their qualifications. Preference shall be given to candidates who have played local club cricket.]
